About Doug

Dr. Doug Patron co-leads the medical directorship practice. Dr. Patron has been providing occupational health and medical director services to numerous Fortune 100 and many smaller companies since 1994. His expertise and experience, combined with his passion for his field and his extraordinary ability to operate in multidisciplinary environments, has resulted in significant cost savings for his clients. Since 2004, he has delivered vital services successfully based on a fractional medical director model where his focus has been on availability and expertise rather than selling “time”.

Dr. Patron received his medical degree from The George Washington University. He completed his residency in Internal Medicine at St. Joseph Hospital in his hometown of Denver, Colorado. He then completed a fellowship in Occupational and Environmental Medicine at National Jewish Hospital, also in Denver, and obtained his Master of Science in Public Health (MSPH) from the University of Colorado. He is board certified.

Doug has been married for 30 + years to his amazing wife, Melanie. Together, they have a wonderful daughter and son-in-law.
